BUDLEIGH

I haven't posted in so long! So today I thought that should change, I've still been snapping away when I have the chance, in-between a few other creative projects I'm working on at the moment. I thought it was time to share a few photos from my trip to Budleigh a little while ago, it was so rainy and windy but I loved the results of the photos. The texture of the surroundings and moody colours helped create some great images! I will hopefully be posting a little more in the next few weeks!

DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK

A little while ago, on my 21st Birthday, I visited Dartmoor National Park! The views were beautiful, the weather was moody but with lovely light peeking through from the afternoon sun. I haven't posted in ages and really wanted to post a few photos of my time on Dartmoor, I'd love to visit again soon as it was beautiful!

AMELIA

The other morning my friend Amelia and I went on a walk down the lane where we live, not only is she my next door neighbour but also a good friend of mine, you might recognise her from a few of my photos before! Here are a few of the images I took and I've added in a few Polaroid's too! Enjoy!

THE EXPLODING BAKERY

I've worked at The Exploding Bakery since around April time, and it's safe to say i've been itching to do a shoot in there since I started! A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to go in on a Sunday, to take some images for my current degree 'book' project, which I have opted to create a recipe book. My friend Tara came along too and we spent the day shooting in the perfect light. It was great fun styling the cakes with the various props around the bakery, and I'm very pleased with how the images turned out. The company is passionate about their cakes & sourcing quality ingredients, so make sure you pop into The Exploding Bakery if you are in Exeter, it's well worth a visit! STOCKHOLM SWEDEN

At the end of October, I travelled to Sweden, it's been a destination I've always wanted to visit due to the Saluhall in Stockholm I'd heard about. Staying in a hostel was a great way to keep costs down, meaning you could spend extra when out and about. The 4 days were just about enough to get a taste of the way of life, I'd loved to have gone further throughout this beautiful country, however it was still a great (very cold) city break. Stockholm is a stunning city & defiantly worth a visit! So here's a few photos I though I'd post, taken over the few days I was there.

OUT IN THE FIELD

It's been a while since I uploaded anything on my blog, as i've been busy with starting the second year of my degree. In my free time, i've been wondering around where I live, in my wellies and scruffy jumper, picking blackberries & making jams etc. Also helping to look after our new piggies on the smallholding. So thought I'd upload a few of my photos that I like to take in my spare time, they also link with my current project that I am doing on self-suffiency! It's a world away from where we used to live & I feel very lucky everyday to have such beautiful surroundings on our doorstep!
